I stand amazed in the middle of a vast woods. The breeze whips my hair; the sun touches my fingertips; the blades of grass encounter my unprotected toes. It is in this place that I make my decisions. Which tree shall I eat from? I stand often confused as to the next step, but am comforted because I am in the garden, which means God's presence is assured and His counsel is available always. He will make known to me the path of life (Psalm 16).
